Members and Friends:
The Consistory, acting on a recommendation from the Reopening Task Force, has approved reopening in person worship beginning on Palm Sunday, March 28 at 9:30 AM.
This action was taken based on medical statistics which have demonstrated declines in hospitalizations and deaths. Even though there has not been as sharp a decline in the rate of infection, those numbers are also decreasing.
To refresh your memory, we have included an updated guide for you to read to help you remember the steps we will be taking with each person to ensure we have followed all CDC guidelines for congregate gatherings. If you have any questions about them, please contact the church office.
I am excited about being in church together again! I am looking forward to worshiping in our sanctuary and experiencing the joy of our grand organ, moving through the liturgy as a congregation, and being inspired by our special music, liturgy, and scripture. I want to emphasis we are doing this as safely as possible. The leadership of the church has taken time and thought in providing the best and most meaningful worship experience under the current conditions of the Covid-19 virus.
Mark your calendars for March 28, Palm Sunday, and meet us for worship at 9:30 AM at the St. John’s (Hain’s) UCC Church!
Peace, Pastor Dan Clark, Interim Minister
