Pastor: Rev. Dr. Sharon L. Barley
Rev. Peter Goguts
Rev. Peter Goguts served as Pastor of St. John’s (Hain’s) from 1982 to 2010. The congregation honored Pastor Goguts by naming him Pastor Emeritus in 2012.
Pastor Ann came to Hain’s Church along a path with many twists and turns: Roman Catholic upbringing, science teacher, becoming a UCC member through Maidencreek Church, post-retirement as a full-time seminary student, Chaplain resident at Phoebe Ministries, followed by a call to visitation ministry at St. John’s (Hain’s) after my ordination in 2014. My present position here is as Visitation/Outreach Pastor. I feel called to walk with those who, like me, are in their “second half of life” journey!
My wife, Cathy, and I have been partners for over forty years, sharing the usual highs and lows experienced in all relationships. We share our home with three furry creatures that keep us energized. My extended family lives all over the U.S. Spirituality is an important part of my life. I also enjoy kayaking, reading, crocheting, crafts, and “becoming” an artist.
