All are welcome! Saturday, August 10th Children’s Games and Activities starting at 4:00 p.m. with Face Painting, Animal balloons, and other fun games. Entertainment from The Martin Sisters and the Celtic Martin Band 5 to 8 pm. Food will be available for purchase at 4:00 p.m.
The Jack Frost Parade is a great one and we will have a float in it. If you are interested in helping plan the float, bring your thoughts and ideas to this meeting and let’s get creative.
Harvest Home is a time to give thanks to almighty God for all the fruits of the earth. Please bring your fruits, vegetables, cut flowers and potted plants to the church 12:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 7th.
The festival of Harvest Home will be celebrated on Sunday, September 8 at the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Harvest Home is a time to give thanks to almighty God for all the fruits of the earth.
Everyone is invited to attend a covered dish social event in the social room after the 10:30 a.m. Harvest Home and tractor parade. If you plan to attend the luncheon, there is sign-up sheet, asking for your name, how many will attend and the food item you will bring along. Helpers are also needed for the covered dish social time, and if you can help, please contact Tracy Schaeffer at 610-670-2940.
Children and youth will come forward during the service and will receive a blessing on themselves and also their backpack. We will also give a tag to put onto the backpack as a reminder of the support and love they have with their church family. If you are in need of a backpack or know someone who is in need of one, please let the office know.
Welcome, Greet & Meet Patricia Roberts, Christian Education Ministry Director and Janet Davis, Director of Music following the 10:30 a.m. worship service for refreshments and a chance to meet the new members of Hain’s staff.
We welcome members of Hain’s Church who are 70 and older. It is a meal, no cost to you, prepared and served by Women’s Fellowship and church members.
The Ecumenical Affairs Committee of Wernersville invites you to join them on Sunday, November 24th at 3:00 p.m. for the Community Thanksgiving Service which this year will be hosted by Hain’s.
December 7, 2019 The Hanging of the Greens ~ A Concert of Lessons and Carols (7:00 p.m.) A worship service and concert featuring the vocal and handbell choirs while our sanctuary is decorated for the Advent & Christmas seasons. Also, please invite your family and friends to attend! Refreshments and fellowship will be shared in the Chapel following the service.
Join us on December 8th in the social room, located on the ground level below the church sanctuary, following the 10:30 a.m. service for Gingerbread house making. The committee will provide the gingerbread houses and icing. You will need to bring your own candies for decorating. Everyone is invited to attend! Sign-up sheets will be located in the coat room.
