CHANCEL CHOIR

Rehearsals are Sunday’s, September through late May from 10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. This ensemble is for adults of all ages. We share an anthem each week in worship during the worship service. We also share in the Christmas Cantata in December with the other ensembles.


HANDBELL CHOIR

Rehearsals are Wednesdays, September through the first week in May from 6:30-7:30 p.m. This ensemble is open to persons of all ages who have some music reading skills.


ANNIE GAUL CONCERT SERIES

The Annie M. Gaul Concert Series of St. John’s (Hain’s) was established as an outreach ministry of the church to enrich the cultural life of Berks County. It is supported entirely by individual and corporate contributions and free-will offerings.   Everyone is invited to attend the following concerts:

January 23, 2022 “Winds of the Badlands” (3:00 p.m.) Jill Haley – Winds Of The Badlands This concert is a collection of pieces that Jill Haley wrote when she was an Artist in Residence in South Dakota’s Badlands National Park. The wind was her constant companion as she explored the Park creating pieces such as Cliff Shelf Breeze and Whirlwind.Jill Haley, oboe; David Cullen, guitar; Susan McDevitt, piano

March 27, 2022 Pete Marsh – Bells with accompanist Terri Limes & 8TTB Sisters (3:00 p.m.) Members of the group include Katie Becker, Pauli Belfiore, Stephanie Diehl, Chris Ferencz, Freda Richard, Lori Thomas and accompanist Terri Limes.

May 1, 2022 Conrad Weiser High School Jazz Band (3:00 p.m.): Mr. Neal Lutz, Band Director & Conrad Weiser High School Choraleers: Mrs. Sarah McGrory, Choral Director.
