Building for the Future

Our Church

We are a growing, multi-generational congregation founded in 1735. St. John's (Hain's) UCC offers opportunities to learn, serve and make a difference as followers of Jesus. We gather for worship, song, and the word every Sunday at 9:30 AM. This is a special place where love is what we are learning to do. We hope you will plan to join us soon!

What We Believe

We believe that we see God most clearly in the life and teaching of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We affirm that some of life’s questions resist easy answers, and that religion is more than traditions. We understand that God loves and claims all people and calls us to love one another as sisters and brothers in Christ. We believe that following Jesus is done better with others than alone.

Ministries

There are many opportunities to share your time and talents to help the local community, our country and the world. We invite you to join us in ministry, helping others and spreading the good news about our Savior Jesus Christ. At Hain's we have a committee dedicated to planning mission projects and guiding us in serving others. In addition, we have several groups that meet regularly for fellowship and service.
