CLOTHING DRIVE
The Mission Committee is organizing a Clothing Drive for Hope Rescue Mission during the month of April. Please bring your clean but still usable men's, women's and children's clothing, all seasons; specifically, shirts, pants, dresses, socks, hats, coats, scarves, belts, purses, backpacks and new underwear. As before, there will be a donation area in the coatroom and an overflow area in the Sunday School classroom. Thank you.
TEAM ONE:27
With Consistory's approval, the loose plate offerings during the month of April will be donated to Team One:27, the local arm of Divine Ministries, the orphanage we've been supporting in Haiti for the past nine years. The news is very grim. Gangs control 80% of Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti. Divine Ministries has been forced to abandon their orphanage in the neighboring town of Carrefoure and move all the children to Les Cayes, approximately six hours west. There are 80 children and 25 workers who rarely know when or where their next meal is coming from. Funds are needed to purchase what food remains available in Haiti. Please prayerfully consider feeding these poor children through your loose plate donations in April.
